School Uniform Christ the King G.N.S. takes pride in maintaining a high standard of appearance. A neat and tidy school uniform helps children to understand the importance of presentation and helps them develop their self-esteem and self-confidence. Parents must ensure that pupils comply with these standards in matters of general appearance, dress, hairstyles and jewellery at all times during the school term. Pupils must wear school uniform every day except on P.E. days when they may wear the school tracksuit Uniform · Red V – neck jumper with school crest · Red and white gingham shirt · Navy skirt or pinafore · Navy dickie bow · White knee length socks or navy/black tights · Flat black shoes (no boots) · School tracksuit, white/red polo shirt, runners (no converse/canvas shoes) · Jewellery: For safety reasons no neck-chains, long earrings, bangles, bracelets or finger rings are allowed. One stud earring may be worn in each ear. No other body piercings are permitted · Hair must be kept out of the eyes at all times and long hair must be tied back. Unorthodox/unusual hairstyles including artificial hair colour are not allowed. Hair should be a single natural colour · Make-up, nail varnish, false nails are not permitted. If a pupil comes to school not wearing the correct school uniform the parents of that pupil will be contacted to bring the correct uniform into school
