Well done to all who took part in the Mini Scientist competition on November 18th. 4th and 6th Class blew us away with their excellent investigations and presentations. They should all be so proud of themselves! Extra congratulations to our overall winning group based on Sea Pollution with Maddison Kavanagh, Claire Colgan and Elizabeth Meade in 5th Class. They represented us in the next round of the competition on the 13th of December in Blanchardstown IT and they did us so proud. Well done girls!
Avolon & Difference Days
On Thursday 22nd September 2021 we celebrated our Difference Day. 300 workers from airline company Avolon, Outdoor Spaces and Difference Day descended on Christ the King to work their magic in transforming our schools. We are so excited with the changes they have made. We now have an outdoor classroom, sensory play spaces in our yard, a stage and our school garden has been cleared and replanted with a fresh path laid. We had a very fun day learning about airplanes with Avolon and cheering them on as they worked so hard all day. Please look through our photos below to see some of the amazing work that was done.
