Mini Scientist 2022

Well done to all who took part in the Mini Scientist competition on November 18th.
4th, 5th and 6th Class blew us away with their excellent investigations and presentations. They should all be so proud of themselves!
Extra congratulations to our overall winning group based on Sea Pollution with Maddison Kavanagh, Claire Colgan and Elizabeth Meade in 5th Class. They represented us in the next round of the competition on the 13th of December in Blanchardstown IT and they did us so proud. Well done girls!

Thank You Avolon!

On Thursday 22nd September we celebrated our Difference Day. 300 workers from airline company Avolon, Outdoor Spaces and Difference Day descended on Christ the King to work their magic in transforming our schools. We are so excited with the changes they have made. We now have an outdoor classroom, sensory play spaces in our yard, a stage and our school garden has been cleared and replanted with a fresh path laid.
We had a very fun day learning about airplanes with Avolon and cheering them on as they worked so hard all day.
Please look through our photos below to see some of the amazing work that was done.
                                                                                    Thank You Avolon!

Class of 2022

Ms. Haughey and all the staff of Christ the King wish 6th class the best of luck in their next chapter. Congratulations class of 2022!

Website competition

Our school recently ran a competition to design a new banner for our school website. Congratulations to Arabella who designed and drew the beautiful artwork you can now see at the top of our website. We were blown away by the talented entries we received. Have a look at the gallery below to see some of the other entries.
