Today we are learning the phrase ‘Is maith liom a bheith…..’ That means ‘I like to…..’
Pick 2 hobbies that you like to do and write them into your copy. For example: Is maith liom a bheith ag rothaíocht. Is maith liom a bheith ag scipeáil.

Reminder that 2nd class can collect their books today, Tuesday 12th January, from 12.00-1.00. English: As we begin a new year, it is tradition to make some New Year's Resolutions. A resolution is like a promise. We can think of promises we would like to keep at home for example keeping our bedroom tidy, and in school for example using our neatest handwriting. Unihoc
We are learning to play Unihoc in 2nd class. We can run with the ball, pass and even score goals!
Celebrating Diwali
We learned about the Indian festival of Diwali. It was so interesting to learn about another culture. We made paper lanterns and clay candle holders.
Maths
We have been working very hard in maths. We love playing 'hit the button' on our tablets. We also had great fun with our 'pizza fractions' game. We have learned about halves and quarters this year.
